Ms Santiago tells a story that makes you want to slit your wrist, jump of joy, and hold on to the ones you love all at the same time.
This book picks at your emotions like a vulture picking at it's scavenged prey.
I went from liking Paige, to pitying her, to hating her, to respecting her, to liking her again. It's a journey, and
you just have to come along for the ride.
A must read, but not a beach book.
Curl up by a fire, put on the cocoa, put the kids to bed, and read SURFACING.
