Lucie Simone
Lucie is one of those girls you see hanging out in coffee shops, her nose buried so deep in a sexy romance that she barely even notices the cute guy in the corner checking her out. Barely. Oh, she notices him. But, she's learned to let him come to her. This took years of practice. We're talking years.
Most of those years were spent in living it up in Los Angeles. She's gotten her groove on in all the hot clubs on Sunset Strip, sipped colorful cocktails in nearly every bar in Hollywood, and rubbed elbows (and other bits!) with loads of actor/model types at scores of parties in the Hollywood Hills. But that's not to say that her life begins and ends in the City of Angels. She's been all over the U.S. from coast to shining coast, and even spent a few lovely vacations traipsing around the globe.
A lot of Lucie's writing is inspired by her travels, and she enjoys the thrill of re-living her excursions in each of her stories. But you'll also find that she spends a lot of creative energy sorting out life and love for the single girl in the big city. That's because Lucie is just such a girl.
So who is Lucie Simone? She's a single girl living, working and dating in Hollywood. When not batting her eyelashes at cute boys in bookstores, she pens her fantasies and even some of her nightmares (first dates, bad dates, fast dates, and what-happened-to-my-date dates) for the amusement of others. Lucie has a degree in journalism and in television production; she's worked in entertainment and in advertising, and she is an active member of Romance Writers of America, Los Angeles Romance Authors, and Passionate Ink.
