 Canice Brown-Porter
At the age of 14, Canice Brown-Porter wrote her first romantic full-length novel. That novel is now the basis of a five book series which is contracted with Freya's Bower, entitled The Learning Curve. The series is
titled Yesterday's Innocence.
A Virginia native, she moved to the Village of Rouses Point in New York, where she owned and operated a graphic design/web development business. And, also owned, published, and edited a popular weekly community newspaper. Canice has over 25 years in advertising and marketing with a natural artistic talent that has earned her awards and ribbons since elementary school.
Having lived in New York, Ohio, and South Carolina, Canice now owns her home, once again, in Virginia with the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop for inspiration.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult sons. They are constantly entertained by their pets, a cat and a dachshund whom she says is like living with Garfield and Odie.
She devotes her energies to caring for her husband and her passion for writing.
Canice is a member of Romance Writers of America. Serves as a book reviewer for Romance Divas and occasionally for BDSM Reviews. She is also the webmistress and co-owner of Alternative Writers Association.
